We are looking for an experienced Buyer / Production Planner to join our team.

Job duties include

• Control stock inventory levels
• Supplier Negotiations and Contracts
• Minimize Stock and improve turn
• Locate and develop new strategical partners
• Determine commodities & service requirements
• Supplier evaluations
• Identify foreign and domestic suppliers
• Enforce and maintain purchasing policies and procedures
• Enhance development of purchasing department employees
• Interact with upstream and downstream departments
• Work Closely with Production Planning on Material Release

Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant professional qualification and experience in the following :
• At least 5 years experience as Buyer
• Strong team development and leadership skills / experience
• Experience of negotiating long term contracts
• Experience of introducing and controlling cost saving programs whilst maintaining quality and service
• Proficient in M/S Outlook, Word, Excel & Made 2 Manage software
• Liaise with customers / partners / sister companies
• ISO 9000 / TS
